Yes, wheel to wheel, I thought I  might have to reach up in the bed and wanted the step, but I ended up with a hard cover and never reach up over anyway.

No wierdo rust or anything, 3 winters in the PNW at least one washing per week to keep ice melter from ruining things.

Thanks for info. I am going to stick with GM. As I mentioned above I like that I can order parts for them. Replace pads, etc.

I wanted factory ones as I knew the quality would be good, as you stated there are a gazillion types out there and I see some rusted through and crappy looking.

Good luck on your search and getting what you want, I have found online GM parts suppliers are cheaper than the dealers.
