2020 Sierra 1500 SLT.

According to the indicator on the cluster, the right front parking assist sensor keeps beeping over nothing being there. It goes to instant red alert. I could be pulling up to a stop sign or going through a parking lot or what not, and it will screech at me worse than my ex wife and her nagging.

The further right front sensor is a little jiggly, maybe a 1/16th of an inch, but I did shove a piece of paper in there to stabilize it, only to be met with same results.

Not sure if there is a way to reset the things. I have been trying to find a manual but I guess they dont make them anymore.

Just bought the vehicle and it is outside warranty.

Anyone know how to diagnose or reset or know what is going on. I like the feature since I am new to driving a huge truck (they used to be so much smaller back in the day, i miss those days), so parking assist is a little helpful as I readjust my depth perception on the Tank.

Similar issue here, went from that to just the entire system turning off due to that one sensor throwing an error. I found that if its cold, it works, but if it's warm, it errors out.

Took it to the dealer and paid the diagnostic fee, they said that one sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced, no further detail. Part itself isn't too bad, but the labor to get to it is expensive. Some good youtube videos about replacing the sensor, it looks like you have to remove the entire grill / bumper assemply.

We've had sensors replaced in the front bumper and now its back at the dealer supposedly having a rear sensor(s) replaced for a similar issue.  Our park assist system will suddenly say "unavailable" in the cluster and the toggle in the center stack becomes unresponsive and without an orange light.  No rhyme or reason as to when it happens, but its never when dirty, wet, or covered in ice as the dealer and GM have tried to push as explanations.
