Front seat swap

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra that has 80,000 miles. Would it be possible to swap the driver seat bottom and the back portion to the passenger side and visa versa while keeping the controls where they are (the plastic base part) so that I have a new driver seat

NO. The side airbag is in the seatback so you can't swap those. It's potentially possible to swap the bottom foam, but it's a huge hassle. You're better off finding a local late model salvage yard and get a low mile take out if your seat is that worn out.

I bet you could do just the bottoms, I've thought of doing the same myself.

OK thank you. I did not realize the airbag was in the side of the seat. I appreciate the help and the suggestions.
