Is there a way to remove ‘Trailer View’ from the right side of the infotainment?

I’m not using this feature and would rather not have to scroll by it all the time.  Is there a way to remove it from the display?

EDIT -- I reread you post and see I didn't actually answer your question...

 

 

Swipe that part of the screen up or down.

As you've found, the on rhs indicate the number of screens currently available to occupy that space. 

Mine screen always comes back up the way it was previously set-up.  

 

If running google maps -- there would be and arrow on the rh edge of the map screen.

Pressing it will make the map full screen.

 

I don't see the arrow in your pic, and the pic shows iphone -- so guessing you're running carplay and carplay doesn't support that map feature.

I normally don't run AA or CP.  

 

You can also put the map on the rhs.

 

Full screen is not available on all apps.

Audio, for example, only plays RH or LH, but not full screen (an therefore does not display the arrow/chevron)
