Ranch Hand bumper install?

just ordered a Ranch Hand Bull nose for my 2003 Z71; anybody here have one? I wanted to know of any problems installing it & the durability of it. I chose the ranch hand over BuckStop & road armor.

I put a Buckstop on mine by myself.I clamped it to a floor jack,that thing is heavy with a 9500LB Warn mounted in it.I also left the mounting hardware loose until I got all the bolts started.It lined up really well.Later,Donnie

Had mine on for about ten months. Look like it did when I bought it.

I like it a lot. It adds a load of needed protection up front wiithout adding another 100 lobs for the cattle style version.

Unfortunately, I did not install my own. One drawbacks that can be fixed is that the tow hooks up front had to come off - they must be removed to install the bumper. I will have them welded back on near where they were when I get the chance.

I thought the ranch hand bumpers had shackle brackets welded on them already? If so those would work better than a hook.

put mine on last night, & yes they do have shackels for the factory tow hooks. You have to reverse them: left on the right & right on the left. Also the bolt goes in from the top talk about a B*tch.
