Side mirror replacements

Since my drivers side heated mirror broke I've been looking for a replacement. There are some listed on eBay that are aftermarket replacements cited to be used by many body shops. Would these be different than what is available from GM? I figure GM probably contracts parts like that out, so they may be ok. Anybody know the ground truth?

My mirror wasn't heated but it was eletric. I found my replacement at believe it or not the JUNKYARD! I didn't have a lot of money and needed a mirror and figured I would look there. The guy said he had some brand new ones still in the box. I said to myself, yeh, right. We went out to his car and he had boxes of mirrors. The were sealed and still had the bubble wrap around them. He said he just got a good deal on them . So I might have a heated mirror now, if you know what I mean. Anyway, $50 for a new mirror. All that to say you never what you'll find at junkyards.

Some of the aftermarket mirrors are good, but some of them are total crap. After awhile the glass will vibrate so bad that you can't see out of it while driving down the road.
