I’m wondering how to find out if I have factory remote start on my 2009 LMM Duramax gmc sierra 2500hd

AP3 means you already have it. AP8 means it's ready, but you'd need a programmer to program the BCM for it to work.

 

DON'T GO TO THE DEALER FOR THAT. Have a private name shop or mobile programmer do it.
