2016 Chevy Silverado factory radio, installing a pioneer DDIN radio. For the life of me I cannot figure out where to hook the red accessory wire coming from the pioneer wire harness to the factory connections. The green 16 pin has a yellow (constant), black (ground) and the other wire for the speakers. I have tested all the pins with the key on, off, accessory mode and door closed and open and cannot figure out which wire in the green connector is an accessory wire or how it turns the stock radio off. Wanted to use the cig lighter but it stays 12v constant no matter what I try to do to see if it loses power. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

One thing that may help is this. I do know that if drivers door is open, and interior lights are on, certain things are powered up which makes tracking down a switched power source. As you probably saw, there is no door switch to push in and disable. In order to make the truck think the door is closed, make sure the door is open first and then push the latch closed in the door. Anything that can turn off after truck shut off and drivers door is then opened and then closed, will turn off once you close that latch. To reset the latch, just pull on the door opener and latch will pop back open again.
