I recently replaced the battery on my 2019 Silverado double cab 1500 5.3l RST. In the process of taking the old battery out I broke  off the wires from the battery sensor connector ( female) Accidently. I can't seem to find a replacement OEM, all I see are generic pig tail connectors. So I purchased 1, but now I have a check engine light on.  I've already done the disconnect negative terminal for ten-fifteen min thing. Should I leave it alone and letx it go through the drive cycle routine and hope check engine light goes away? Any suggestions or similar experience would be welcome. Thanks
