I’ve had a problem for the last year with this truck where the brake pedal position sensor thinks the brake is pushed so it leaves my tail lights on sometimes. I’ve replaced that once and it was OK for about six months and then it started doing it again. Just got the replacement part in the mail and I went to install it, and the battery was dead from the tail lights being on. So I swapped it with another battery I had in my garage. Once the new battery was installed something went seriously wrong. The check engine light came on, the OBD port doesn’t work with my BlueDriver scanner now. It doesn’t show me what gear im in and won’t shift (feels like it’s stuck in 3rd or 4th) and the oil pressure and RPM gauge fluctuate quickly while the engine is running. It also keeps showing that the power steering is limited and there is a problem with my trailer Brakes. But the errors keep coming up again and again instantly, even after you dismiss them with the check button on the steering wheel. There is also clicking I can hear down by the brake pedal. I have tested every fuse and relay in the main box under the hood and nothing there. I’ve included a link to the video on YouTube of the gauges. And then I also included a picture of one of the plugs that connects to the box that sits on top of the Battery. It seems there was some sort of spark that caused the plug to be slightly burnt, but it doesn’t look like it’s damaged. Never had anything like this happen so any help would be greatly appreciated. (Edit) pulled off the battery distributor (I think that’s what it’s called) and slot number 2 has been burned. I can’t find out what that supplied power too.

On the power distribution block on top of the battery you should see the AMPs of that fuse. For a quick fix you can buy a fuse bar at auto supply shop to mount across it to make that ok temporary. Not sure why it blew but could of accidentally happened when you installed the battery. I would do this 1st to see if it corrects anything.
