2024 Silverado 2500 Gas Hairline Crack in Manifold

Just had passenger side manifold replaced under warranty due to a hairline crack.  Smelled gas inside cab and after ruling out fuel leak dealer diagnosed the crack in the manifold.  Took delivery of truck in Dec. 2023 (ordered new) and now has 14K miles.  Most miles are from towing a travel trailer.  Anyone else had this problem? It's concerning on a relatively new truck.

That's a new one.  
 

Only thing I can think is from the heat cycle towing?  If you pull and then just shut it off hot right away without maybe letting it idle for a few minutes.

I used to do that when I had a diesel to cool down the turbos but didn't think necessary with a gasser.  I'll try it thanks

It's apparently an issue, and I honestly think it's due to the absurdly sized, overly restrictive muffler not allowing heat to escape the system.

I'll have a look at mine.  I have 17k miles, probably 15k towing a travel trailer, but our SoP is I set up the trailer while mama and puppy wait in the idling truck, so hopefully that's cooling things down.
