My 2022 refresh Sierra 1500 AT4 has a loud clicking noise in the cabin under the passenger side dash and it is the a jammed air gate, presumably for the fresh air system. I was quoted $1,400 to fix it, but the service rep told me they had seen this issue before, so I thought I would 1.) reach out and see if others have had this issue, and 2.) see if anyone has been able to repair it themselves. I understand that the fix is almost all labor and that the dash has to come apart. I know everything is packed tightly in there, so it could be a big deal to get to this part, but I don't think GM's flagship trucks should have this kind of issue 2-3 years into service. I've asked the dealer to see if the GM would participate in this since it was noted to be something that's come up before. Anyway, I would be grateful to hear any similar experiences/solutions.

Here's a quick vid of the obnoxious sound it makes:

Sounds like a acurater or a stuck blend door. Probably acurater.  Go through hvac settings to find out what setting isn't working. Get under the dash when making noise to find out which acurater it is. Good luck it maybe in easy reach.
