I got a 2016 Chevy 1500 and I can’t get it to take any gas. After about a gallon or so it fills the neck up and it takes awhile for it to drain down. I replaced the solenoid vent valve and lines today , while doing that I took the line off the charcoal canister only to find that it was full of gas pulled it out and drained it blew it out with till dry put everything back together and still can’t pump any gas any ideals ?

Any evidence of someone try siphoning gas out of your tank and jam a hose in the goose neck/ filler hose? Also I know my 2018 came with no gas cap and when It snows the snow was getting in behind the fuel filler door and sometimes filling the gas filler opening but never enough to allow ice build up inside the goose neck but allows water in the tank. I put a 2 inch plumbing cap on as a gas cap.

Just a guess

If you can remove the filler tube from the tank and make sure it's not blocked

I haven’t tried to remove the filler neck but I will try that, and my model has a fuel cap and I haven’t noticed anything different. I have cleaned the evaporator canister out and have it unconnected and tried to put fuel in with no luck which I watched on YouTube!
