2023-2024 6.2 failures

We have a '15 LTZ with the 6.2 that's got 125K miles and I'm thinking about getting rid of it and picking up a low mileage 6.2 23 or 24 as a replacement but I'm concerned about reported lifter and bearing problems.  I've read GM is struggling to keep up with engine replacements and customers are sitting for months without their vehicles.   Is this a real problem or is it being hyped.  If it's a real problem is it specific to an engine plant or VIN range?  Has it been addressed in 25 or is this still a problem with no end in sight?

I'm not gonna be much help here other than to suggest posting this in the 19-25 Sierra/Silverado section vs. HD section.  You'll likely have many more people famaliar with this.
