Just got my 2025 Sierra 2 dr standard box pro. I wanted to lift/ level the truck 2-3” for aesthetics purposes. I had no problem factory lifting my previous ride a ‘21 Rubicon with a dealer kit, but this dealer says it’s not doable with a GM kit for the 2 dr shortbox.  Is this true?  Kinda wanted to stay warranty safe.

Also wanted to add remote start, again dealer says not doable?

For 2025 1500 Pro,

- keyless entry and start is not available to order.

- remote start is an available option.

Any chance the person at the dealer is confusing the two?

Adding the full keyless system would be a huge task - buttons on door, button on dash, all the necessary wiring and modules, all the necessary programming, etc.

Since 'remote keyless entry' is standard, it wouldn't seem to be much of a stretch to retro-add the remote start portion (especially as it is an available factory option)

In the UAE they offer the regular cab short box Silverado with the TrailBoss trim which has the 2" lifted suspension. GM offers this lift kit as an accessory kit. There should be no reason it wouldn't fit. Same drivetrain.

Also remote start is offered as a GM accessory option for the base trucks that didn't come with it.

Time to find a smarter dealer/parts person.
