Canopy 3rd brake light installation guide

Just passing along an install sheet from my local canopy dealer.

 

The struggle: wiring the center brake light on the canopy without having it flash when you signal.  Becuase Chev/GM use the same bulb for the brake and signal flasher.

 

Although you can purchase a device that connects to both left and right brake/signal wires to isolate thr flash, this tells you how to wire it from the harness under the dash from the stock high mount brake light wire.

 

You will need to tap into that wire and run it to the back of the truck. This is a much cheaper option than spending $50-$60 on a module.
