Went to flush brake fluid

I like to suction the MC empty first then refill and flush the lines, this is the first MC I've seen with a filter, was able to pull the filter out but put it back in then went to refill, it's really slow to refill with that filter. Anybody else experienced this?

They all have that filler filter now.
