1988 metric dash

I am looking to buy a 1988 C1500 with metric gauges. Is converting this dash to standard one as simple as changing the cluster to the same year standard one?

Or, can I just replace the faces on the gauges?

Should be plug and play, mechanical odometer so no way to adjust to actual mileage

88 c/k was a cool truck, I had a K1500, 300k on it when the trans went again and I parted it out. It plowed snow better than most of the trucks I have owned but the 700r4 wasn't the most durable trans, went through 4 or 5 and a rear end
