Slip Yoke

I just got back from the dealers, luckily they are honest folks. I had to have a heated mirror replaced, under warranty. The fellas informed me of a long known, yet unrecalled Slip Yoke, it seems the factory slip yoke was a bit too small, causing that subtle clunk when at a slow coast and you get on it, or when turning corners and you accelerate slightly, you hear that clunk...well, they have a fix and most of them will fix it for free. New slip yoke with a larger, nickel plated dealie bobber (not sure what it's formally called, so therein lies "dealie bobber")

Just a thought for those of you who have experienced this, and I am unsure of the model years that are affected by this issue.

My 2002 model has had the factory yoke replaced with the nickel plated one - supposedly you are supposed to get it greased...mine will start making the noise again, I can take it in and have them grease it up and it will be fine.
