I have a 2022 3500 SRW long bed , I would like to convert to a DRW . What parts would be needed to do so ? Or is finding a used axle and swapping best bet ?

Not interested in steel adapters from aarowcraft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, have studied for drys trying to find logical , consistent information!

It's not going to be cheap.  The axle itself is a different width from the SRW version, so swapping a used one should be a little cheaper than buying a new axle.  But for such a new truck, I expect you'll need to hit up a used part shop, and they won't be that much cheaper.

But IDK what all is different between them, as stuff can be different because of DRW, or because of other options.  I've got a '12 3500 DRW longbed, and a '12 3500 SRW standard bed as a parts truck, and brakes, spring pack, spring blocks are different, probably more stuff.

If you have a friend at a dealer, or just go through online parts diagrams for your truck's rear end and try to find the different bits.

and you'll want a DRW axle from a standard truck.  The rear axle for a DRW cab&chassis is different (narrower).  At least, it was for gmt800's, you could look at the info on gmupfitter.com to see if they still are for your truck (most likely they still are different).
