Surround Vision Recorder???

My 2026 Silverado is great and all those cameras can be helpful. Has anyone heard anything about adding the Surround Vision Recorder option I have seen in other GM models? It really seems like a waste not being able to record from the cameras. I installed regular front and rear dash cams but the OEM cameras would be a better option

I was wondering the same thing. I have a dash cam but it sits up a lot higher and I'd love to be able to leverage my surround vision to record. But I do not appear to have the record button. I don't know if it's the software ad or if it's just unavailable

We have been asking for this forever...at least since vehicle cams have been added to vehicles.  One person cracked it on here (cant find it), but they replaced every camera and the head unit with something custom.  The research was done, had something to do with factory cameras not being standard steaming protocols and hard drives overheating.  I deal with this just with my raspberry pi running Android OS for headunit streaming.
