Infotainment audio cuts out.

So does anyone have a sloution to the infotainment losing audio upon startup? Mine cuts out for a second (does it 8-10 times) after starting the truck. My buddy's does the same. I have had a software update done at the dealer and it actually seems worse after that.

Have you tried rebooting your infotainment center? It is nothing but a computer and sometimes needs a hard reset.

Here are two options for doing it:

Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes or
While in “Park”, press and hold the phone hangup button on the steering wheel for 10 seconds.

Thanks..yea I tried that. Its more of an annoyance than a real problem but frustrating nonetheless. A couple times when it has booted the Sirius XM favorites don't show up, just shows "Hold" to save the channels but then upon a second reboot they load but end up in a random order vs. how I had arranged them..again..frustrating.

Mine cuts out once in a while but not as bad as yours. Between cut outs and garbled audio, both are a known issue since they did the refresh.

I had the last update installed at the Dealer when they did a recall on the trailer wiring connector. I haven’t had to do the reboot since then but prior to that, it did the same thing you are experiencing. Still not perfect. Now when I start, there are instances where the last station I was listening to is lit but no sound. I then switch to another station and it has sound, then I switch back. Frustrating indeed. Truck runs good though, so there’s that.
