Ive noticed the LKAS "Lane Keep Assist" is no longer working. There are no LKAS errors and the dash icon goes green but on/off. I pulled the camera cover and and checked/cleaned the glass looks spotless as well as cam lens. I recently had windshield replaced and someone suggested the new glass may be the problem? Anyone have opinion of the issue? doesn't seem to be a lot of info online for this system many don't seem to like much.

Did it mess up as soon as windshield was replaced? Did they recalibrate it when windshield was replaced.

Quite frankly, I had no idea a 2017 Silverado 1500 had lane keep assist.
The first time I saw it it was when I rented a 2020 Silverado (before I bought mine) to pick up BMW parts.

OK, I did a bit of research, LKA came out in highly optioned trucks like an LTZ or a High Country in 2016.
"It was introduced as part of the Enhanced Driver Alert Package, which was offered on high-trim models (such as the LTZ and High Country) starting in late 2015 for the 2016 model year production."
Owning an LT1, I was never aware of this.
One never knows what new things we can discover about these K2s. :)

Any time the camera is removed from the windshield, or if the windshield is replaced, the camera must be re-calibrated.

A bi-directional scan tool is required to enable camera learn.

It is an LTZ model with towing and such. The windshield was replaced but didn't notice it not working for many weeks. they said they calibrated it but I didn't watch them do it. the mobile glass co is unresponsive now so out of the picture for good, I have a Bi/Dir scanner but no camera cal function so I guess ill have to $$$ take it in.
