At this point the truck has 140k I bought it new. I’ve rebuilt the entire front end from ball joints to idler and bracket and pitman hubs, shocks, added steering stabilizer, and replaced gear box. The sound almost sound like it’s behind the dash on passenger side. I do hear it turning both ways but more turning to the right. I’m lost at this point ive retorqued the entire underside of truck. Corssmembers, u bolts, body/cab mounts. Any help!?!?

Yes completely rebuilt front end.
kryptonite upper arms and upper ball joints, sway bar end links for 0-2 inch lift, idler and bracket and pitman, hubs from GM, movotech TTX lower ball joints, ksp heavy duty tie rods, steer gear from GM. I did all work myself and am a stickler so it was done correctly. Noise was prior and post front end

Trueblue- the intermediate shaft. It potentially could be! It has a little slop but bot to much. Do you think the sound could sound like it’s on passenger side of truck if it was the intermediate?

Sounds are commonly hard to locate, exactly. The reason I suggested what I did was because I bought a new body style 2000 Tahoe and had to have it repaired twice under warranty for a noise under the dash that turned out to be a joint on the end of the steering column. It wasn't a knock exactly but it was loud enough to draw my attention.

I had the truck for 18 years and sold it to my brother with only 68K miles on the clock. It was a great truck but being a first year model it had a couple/few minor issues, that being one of them.

Good luck!

Check the inner fender liner. I had single loud "clunk" for 40K miles. Always happens when turning left. Dealer couldn't find anything. I found a spot where the fender liner was rubbing and cut out a small section. It wasn't rubbing all the time, but had an obvious contact spot in the frame grease.

Noise is gone now. I was convinced it was the suspension or steering because of how loud it was.
