CLASS ACTION SUITS?  Does anyone know if there is already a class action suit for the paint - which was to have been fixed, changed in after the 2020 GM vehicles?  Does it look like this?

Just started 3 weeks ago - No help from GM as of yet - Dealer will not assist in speaking with GM on my behalf. Confirmed it is the paint they use along with the way the put it on that causes it to fail.  Clearly a Manufacturer's Defect.

Judging from the rust, that's impact damage that has spread and has been rusting out the roof.  Something chipped the paint right at the windshield edge where the heavy rust is and its just been spreading.

The rest of that roof looks like bad sun damage and lack of protecting it, or some sort of acid rain damage.

My 2021 Suburban had the cherry red tintcoat which looks like what you have.

My paint is still in great shape.

People ask me how I make is shine so much.

I do wax it several times per year.

This is NOT impact damage nor neglect. There were previous class action lawsuits because of such paint preparation st GM manufacturing plant. Not just the Cherry Red Color. This paint is applied in three processes to obtain the desired color.  The manufacturer will cover for 36 months or 36k miles only. That rust is actually corrosion because of the paint process failure. Corrosion is covered for 100,100 miles or a certain months. However their corrosion doesn't include this type. Go figure.
Clearly manufacturer knew from previous paint issues.
This started 3 weeks ago out of the blue.

Friend was telling me ordered a 2025 Yukon Denali.  Was waiting for it to arrive (was told built and in transit) and it was not showing up. So one day he goes down to the dealer and as he drives through the lot he spots this Black Yukon Denali sitting outside of body shop area in primer, masking tape and paper. They are repainting the top parts, hood and roof. So he moseys over to a worker and asked, what happened here?  Guy says, brake leaked on it in transit.  He walked away from buying it because they never intended for him to know that.

That could very well have easily been from transport damage.  You'd lose your $hit if you see how some of these cars come off the carrier needing work.
