Anyone try that computer module for D-Maxs?? Supposed to pick up like 100 ponies and it took him like an hour to install. Too good to be true?

He posted a 7.4 sec 0-60 and a LOW 15 sec 1/4 mile time with a 2500 D-Max. Thats BMW X5 land.

Had one when I had my DMAX. Juice is for real. On a good launch I could get my 2500HD Crew Cab in the low 6 second range 0 to 60.

Actually, the Juice provide MORE power than they say, just the tranny starts slipping.

But keep it in level 4 (125HP) range and youll be fine.

I saw that episode. Makes me cry cause I cant even spin the tires in the sand with my 6.0L :eek:

The Trucks show had a stock exhaust. With an open intake and 4" free flowing exhaust, it helped the juice a lot. It needs to breath!

Watching the show, after owning one, leads me to mentions I think they "under" achieved what it can really do. He spun the tires on both level 5 runs, and thats lost time.

The first night I put the Juice on I couldn't get under 7 sec, but it was cold and damp which caused me to slide the rear end through second gear and bark the tires going into 3rd  . Pretty fun.

I knew there was more to be had when the roads dried up and it got warmer. Still can't completely hook-up but it goes. I also have stock exhaust and a swiss-cheesed airbox.

Stack the Juice module with a programmer like the Quad Stealth and you can really scream - too bad the stock Allison isn't up to it past 135HP, or so. Regardless, Mustang GT's, etc. don't stand a chance :loser:

OK, but think about this.

How does the juice measure 1/4 mile times?

By measuring distance traveled and elapsed time. Right?

The only method it could possibly have for measuring distance traveled is the VSS which only shows wheel distance. Those are not actual 1/4 mile times once the tires spin. In fact the tire spin decreases the 1/4 mile time, making it much lower than it really should be. If you could make the truck spin the tires long enough it would show a 1/4 mile time without actually moving the truck.

I have seen the juice working firsthand and they make the D-max turn it on.

You can check out some of the various websites and those times are backed up by actual 1/4 mile runs.

I'm not sure how the Attitude measures its distances.

My 1/4 mile run of 15.1 by the track time actually showed as a 15.2 by the Attitude :loser:

I also was wondering about the 1/4 mile measurements. I haven't tried it yet with the Attitude, but was thinking about tire spin and distance traveled and the effect it would have on the times recorded.

I'm pretty sure the 0-60mph runs should be legit as it runs off the speedo/VSS......as long as you set your tire size first!

If you have 4WD you can launch in 4High to avoid the wheel spin. Just don't make a habit of it or you'll be putting a fix to your tie rods.

People are amazed at the acceleration of these diesels. Nothings better than pulling up to a "Hemi" in your big 2500HD D/A CC, and the driver looks at you with those eyes that project a false sense of confidence, mostly because he’s the poor victim of Dodge’s marketing campaign, and his persistence to hang onto the notion that his hemi is like that of the hemi of the 70’s is his downfall, the driver then proceeds to rev that over-hyped engine, and then you literally smoke his ignorant a$$ - all while getting 21 MPG :loser:
