bodylift questions?

I've followed the topic of bodylifts for some time now.

and like suspension lifts there are things about them I like and don't like.

However, I still find myself wondering how a bodylift might react in a collision?

How it might stand up as compared to a suspension lift?

I have read that some people like to install urethane bodymounts in conjunction with a bodylift to help with body shift when offroading and too stiffen up the whole extended mounting system.

Any ideas on this would be great!!

About a month after I installed my bodylift I was t-boned by a car going about 35-40 mph and the can didn't shift at all.

 

I was impressed by how it performed.
