GM5.3V8 Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 I'm waiting for the 20 x 8.5 rims to arrive anyday now. I've decided to get 295-45-20 tires for the rear, but still kinda undecided on the front. The truck will get a 2/4 drop shortly. I don't want ANY rubbing issue while turning, so I'm thinking of 285-50-20 or even 275-40-20 for the front tires. Will it look or handle weird? Thanks!
droppedgmc Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 a 275/45vr20 would work all the way around. they are 29.8" tall. a good, but cheap tire is the goodyear eagle gt II. tire rack has them for about 135 a piece. if you go with the same size all the way around, you will be able to rotate them when needed. im going to be running the same diameter tire with 22's and a 4/6 drop
