Cat Replacement/Fuel Pressure Regulator

My Yukon is no longer under any warranty, and I need to replace one Catalytic convertor. I know there is the replacement for the whole Y-pipe, but would really like to replace the one. Has anyone done this, and with which one(company) did you go with? I see CatCo is a maker of uni-fit ones.

Also, how did my one Cat go bad? The fuel pressure regulator failed and was leaking raw fuel into the intake manifold. Of course the dealer and even GM customer service could give two sh*ts in the wind about it.

Any direction would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about the fuel part, I ain't no good, but look on ebaymotors at the Carsound cats, totally universal, and HALF the price they usually are. For the price, and to be safe, it's worth changing both.
