Adding DIC!!

My 2004 Sierra SLE was delivered without the steering wheel controls. I would like to upgrade my steering wheel to the version with the controls so that I can access the full functions of the DIC, like miles to empty, instant MPG and as I use my truck for business and pleasure, to use the options to record this throughut the year. I am not worried about controlling the audio.

 

I know that the DIC also retains the driver seating and external mirror settings. I am not concerned about these, but the kerbside adjustment when selecting reverse would be cool.

 

Is this possible, or am I SOL.

Its very possible to do it.. if you have the time and money to waste.. But seriously.. you will have a major headache going on, and in the end, its probably not worth it..
