Got a new Front Diff.....But......

How do I get the old diff out??!! I took out the four mounting bolts but the diff is resting on the lower and upper drivers side mount and the idler arm (I'm not sure if this is the right name, its the bar that attaches to the tie rod ends). And for the life of me I can't get it out. Would it be prudent to take off the the axel tube to make it less bulk to work out? Any help would be great, Thanks.

According to the CHILTONS manual I have you do have to remove/disconnect some of the steering linkage, stabilizer bar clamp, stabilizer bar bolt, break a ball joint loose....etc.

I suggest you consult a repair manual (Chiltons or Haynes) for the step by step procedure...there r too many steps for me to type(I aint that good)...
