Another 2-wheeler

On a whim, I bought a new Yamaha Vino 125 Scooter for my work commuter vehicle. It's brand new and I've run a tank of gas through it, and it got 71 MPG's (about 7 times better than the HD). It should get better...

I'll be riding this back and forth to work on my 2 mile commute... It will run 60+ MPH without any problem, but I'm still taking it easy on it until it's broken in...

This makes 6 bikes in my garage... 3 Vintage Honda CT70's, a 1986 Honda Z50R Chrome Special, My Yamaha GTS1000 Sport Bike, and my new scooter...

Here she is... She's practical, fun to ride, and has surprisingly great handling!!!

Shaners... With the truck, camper, and family... where do you find the time to ride your bikes? I've been wanting to get a bike this year but I can't even find the time to go look at them never mind go riding.

tps,

Even a little 1/2 hour scoot around town is enough to clean out your head!!! I love to ride, and I've had my endorsement (liscense) for about 20 years now... I don't ride as much as I used too... (about 8K a year) but I still love to ride!!! In fact I pulled one of the CT70's out on Friday and put about 5-10 miles on it just for the grin factor!!!

My street bike (GTS1000) is too big for my commute to work... so I figured this little scooter would satisfy my need to ride, and keep me smiling!!!

These little bikes are weird and not a "tough guy" toy, but they are practical as H3LL, and since I'm 40 years old now, I don't care what anyone thinks!!! Besides, I dare any squid on a sport bike to ride with me when I'm running the twisties on my big bike!!!

Motorcycles are a blast, and they give you a sense of freedom (no matter what you are riding). You just have to ride smart and safe!!!
