Rear Brakes Backing plate

I recently was replacing the parking brake shoes on my 99 Sierra and the little screw that holds the clip for the shoes in place the bolt head broke off. Needless to say I made matters worse trying to get it out does anyone know the part number for the backing plate for the rear brakes for a 2 wheel drive GMC sierra also how hard is it to remove the axles for an open differential rearend to get the backing plate off. Any help would be appreciated.
