Flex Fuel filter change?

Hey guys,just got a new flex-fuel filter and noticed that one end has a snap type fitting instead of a locknut,before I break it, how exactly does this filter come off?thanx

The Transmission lines also have the "quick connect" style fittings. I hear there is a tool, I used a small screwdriver to remove the spring clip from mine when I did my OEM ATF Cooler install. Once the clip was out the line pulled right out. Reinstalled the clip and then the new line "snapped" into place. There was a paint line indicator on the line that was not to be visible after the install to indicate that you had full engagement. I have heard that the Fuel Filter has the same fittings. I am just to darn cheap to by a "special" tool and it was very easy and quick to use the small screwdrive to remove the spring clip.

thanks for the replys...What I ended up doing was buying my own filter ,walked in to a local jiffy lube at a slow time of day ,asked if they had the tool and if they would do it ,$20 later it was a done deal ,thats $20 worth of iced coffees from dunkin donuts ,I love bartering that way... :flag:
