4 inch lift question?

I am planning install a 4 inch rancho set up with my 01 Suburban and a 16x8 rims with a 305/ 70 tire size. Is there any prep upgrades before the lift? I realized that I will need a brake, speed calibration, and gear ratio upgrade as well. What would be the first idea fix?

Hi - You don't have to do any of those things if you don't want to. The 4" lift is mild, as well as, the 305's your going to run. The one thing you may have to do is verify that you have the right amount of backspacing on your wheels due to the Rancho spindles. Have you selected the new shocks you plan to use?

Wheels and shocks are the only real preplanning you need to do. The Suburban will still accelerate nicely with the stock gears and the brakes are strong enough for the new tires and wheels.
