Drop spindles or control arms?

Hello,

 

I'm looking to lower my 01 GMC Sierra Extendacab 2/4 and looking to maintain ride quality and not sure if I should install drop spindles or lower control arms to achieve a 2" drop. I think drop spindles would be a little easier to swap.

 

I had a local shop qoute me $500 to do the work. That includes the rear hangers and shackles.

personally i would go with the djm lower control arms. they are not that hard to install. if you do use a spindle, use the magaughtys? i think thats how it's spelled, or something like that.

I would go with the drop spindles.

McGaughy spindles all the way. Stay away from Belltechs spindles though. Your turning radius will get nasty if you use them.

I would do lower control arms, I had 2'' lca's on my silverado about 6 or 8 months ago and they rode very smooth, never rode in a truck with spindles
