Who hates Microsoft Windows!!!!

I was just at Windows update. I recently installed the newest drivers from Nvidia, they were released in november or so. then I go to Windows Update, and it trys to get me to install Drivers that are 3 months OLDER!!!! and this problem didn't exits untill I installed the NEWER drivers!!!!! I HATE WINDOWS!!!

If you don't like Windows, fine....Don't be a part of the problem.

 

Quit using it, and learn something else.

 

If it weren't for Windows, 90% of the population would not be using computers and/or the internet. Windows made using a computer easy for the masses.

 

I'm not saying that MS is without fault, or that there aren't better operating systems out there...But none are nearly as user friendly as Windows....Before you say Mac....They would be just as bad, and suffer the ills of virus writers just like Windows does if they had a 90% market share.

 

How many people do you think would be on Gm-Trucks.com sharing information if everyone used Linux?

 

Probably about 18 people....Not 11 thousand.

Hey, I'm just says with the 50 billion or so floating around MS's fund's, they COULD some up with something better. I mean they've been using the same foundation since Windows 3.1, MS Windows is like the cyber equivalent to the 70's-2004 Ford Mustang.

 

It's works, but it's getting old, and everyone WANTS something better

I like Windows, so I voted no. You do have a choice not to d/l any of their updates, so I wouldn't worry about it. Other than the occasional changing of my homepage to the Windows Update page, I have not had a problem.

I like it alot better than anything else I've used and I've used Mac and Linux on other computers. Now if I had one of those and used it all the time and got used to it I might like them just as much, but I like to be able to sit down at my friends computers, or my mom's, or the ones at work and be familiar with all of them because they all run the same basic thing, even if it's a different version.

Well, going out on a minority limb here... Go with Linux.

 

Alternately, go with Apple computer's UNIX, that is, its Mac OS 10. It is BSD Unix with a Macintosh GUI.
