How do you determine 3.73 or 4.10

Preparing to tow small fifth wheel neeed to determine if 2002 Z71 is equiped with 3.73 or 4.10 differential . Where can I find this info? Owners manual is not clear .

Check your RPO list (on glove/map box lid)

3.73 GT4

4.10 GT5

High chance it is a 3:73, but not a sure bet. Some did come with 4:10. A local dealer here seems to have a lot of 4:10's on his lot while the other dealers have 3:73's. I don't know, would the dealer be able to order a bunch straight from GM with 4:10's?

I know that mine is a 3:73 but my co-workers same year is a 4:10 from the factory.

Please do not try it without a 4.10. With a fifth wheel you have not only weight but a lot of extra wind drag too. No GT5, do not buy it, keep looking over resolve yourself to have it changed.
