Well first off I knew this happened like a month or so ago... I noticed that a bunch of kids spray painted a bunch of stuff all over the road and I didnt see it til it was too late... It didnt even bother me much cause I seen one or two speckles here and there but I guess it was dirty so it covered a lot.. I gave it a good scrubbing today and OH MAN WAS I TICKED OFF!!! Speckles of paint everwhere, on the body, flares, hard top, bumper, rims/tires, etc..

I dont even wanna think of what this is gonna cost me to get it back to the way I want it!

First off some good pics of it since no one has seen it: :D

get a clay bar, simple green, and some fingernail/elbow greese, and it'll come off, I bet.

It'll need a good waxing after that though!

Ya its coming off spot by spot.. I keep getting the fingernail on it and it does come off but i m only one person and there are just too many ;)

I guess it serves me right trying to keep this truck clean.. LOL I live in the middle of nowhere and something like this is bound to happen.

I m still debating on what I want to do because I already have a few good scratches in it yet (even though it hasnt seen any kind of offroading what so ever) for some reason I ve had bad luck with takin the doors off, the top off/putting the top on, plus the usual door dings, etc.

I m gonna try and get out what I can for now cause I dont want it sitting like that but hopefully I ll change the color of it next year to something different after its lifted!

Thanks guys for the suggestions!!

Nice Jeep. :D The black Ranger has white paint splattered all over the inside of two mud flaps from freshly painted lanes and there is green paint over spray on the hood, so don't feel too bad, it happens to everyone. And if you think your paint is messed up, you should see the paint on my truck up close...previous owner spilled something on the hood and it ate through the clear coat, something hit the driverside bedside and took some paint with it, and someone with a black car hit the driver door.

DONT USE YOUR FINGER NAILS!!!

Go to a autoparts store/body shop and buy some stuff called Prep-Sol made by Dupont. It works wonders trust me. It will take off any wax you have on so after you use it i suggest rewaxing it wont hurt the clearcoat at all

One time I ran over a silver spray paint can in my black truck and it blew up all down the side of the truck. Also had a silver paint can puncture when someone pitched some rebar in my bed one time.

The best way I found to get it off was to use either WD-40 or Bug and Tar remover.

The WD-40 worked suprisingly well, and I'm sure was easier on the paint than the bug and tar remover.
