Two men are driving through Texas when they get pulled

over by a State Trooper. The cop walks up and taps on

the window with his nightstick.

The driver rolls down the window and WHACK, the cop

smacks him in the head with the stick.

"What the hell was that for?" the driver asks.

"You're in Texas Boy" the trooper answers. "When we pull

you over, you better have your license ready when we get

to your car."

"I'm sorry, officer," the driver says, "I'm not from around here."

The trooper runs a check on the guy's license--he's clean--and gives the

guy his license back.

The trooper then walks around to the passenger side

and taps on the window. The passenger rolls down the

window and WHACK, the trooper smacks him on the head

with the nightstick.

"What'd you do that for?" the passenger asks.

"Just making your wish come true," replies the trooper.

"Making WHAT wish come true?" the passenger asks.

"Because I know," the trooper says.... "that two miles

down the road you're gonna turn to your buddy and say, "I wish that

*hole would've tried that s**t with me!"

:D OMG that is hilarious! Born and raised in Texas but now live in California.

Now I am always a little self-conscious about getting pulled over in Texas with my CA drivers license.

Ah, I love it. Though they've started putting cameras in our cars...so the "love tap" wouldn't really fly. Not that I'd do something like that anyway. I always remember watching some tv show in the early 80's when some guy got pulled over and asked what he was stopped for, and the trooper proceeds to use his nightstick to smack the taillight and replies, "broken taillight" but I don't remember what show or movie it was. I almost want to say Chips, but those boys were never causing trouble like that.

Was it porky's?

Not sure

Had to be. Great movie BTW

I mentioned the same scene at work last night and the guys seemed to think that was it too. I may have to check that out. I've only seen portions of it from what I remember, and I don't recall much of it now.

It was in the original (and new) versions of "Walking Tall".

I think it's been in several others.....Burt Reynolds is coming to mind....But I'm not sure.
