First quarter of the year, Silverado 1500 ranks #8 out of 10. F150 is #1. We are even behind Dodge. I wonder when GM is gonna realize they need to make a drastic change in their styling.

Check out the latest issue of Consumers Report...they compare the Silverado, Ram, Titan, Tundra and F-150....of course, Tundra took first as most Japanese vehicles do with them but I was pleased to see the Silverado took top honors as well! It got a "Recommended" rating!! The Dodge was dead last!!

RAM that!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:

That's not surprising since it's a new model. I always read about new truck lines, even the manufactures I hate. This article doesn't have anything to do with sales, quality or other related metrics.

Personally, I have never seen what is good about Ford trucks. I just don't get it!

You would have to pay me to drive a Ford. I just hate their trucks. The Triton motors are dogs IMO, and there trannys are not that great.

To me, GM makes a far superior gas engine. The only thing I will give Dodge is the Cummins is a great engine.

Ford, they don't really have much. As that new 6.0 has had problems comparable to the old 6.5 GM diesels.

Also keep in mind, the Silverado/Sierra is the oldest of all of these trucks. All of the others are newer to the market with a lot of gimmicks and features added recently. The only thing that has happened to the Silverado/Sierra is a refreshening last year. To be able to sell as well as they do in such a competive market says quite a bit about the GM trucks.
