Headers? 6.0 HD

Has any one used these on a 2001 6.0 HD?

How was the fit?

My truck has dual exhaust & cats stock.

Any pictures?

I was looking for some more low end power.

From what I've read, the only headers that will do any good on the 6.0's are Long Tubes. TOG are more mid length although they are reputed to be very good quality. The Supermax or Arizona Speed & Marine seem to be the headers of choice. I'm not sure if the Supermax is available in a "Header Only" option without cats and Y-pipe or coated.

 

You can find some pictures over as LS1tech.com, but they are mostly 1/2 ton, 5.3 installs. tbyrne has ASM's and I think he has pictures of his set-up.

Be advised that long tube headers do raise under hood temps a good bit and I have seen shorty header for a 6.0 that use stock exhaust pipes while balancing backpressure on each cylinder for smoother operation and a little power gain too.
