hp3 8.1

I was wondering if anyone knew if the 8.1 hp3 motor was out yet? How much does it cost? Would this be better for my truck than super charging it? I tow a 35ft 5th wheel that ways in at 13000lbs loaded. My truck is a 04 8.1/allison, Im really interested in the 525hp HP3 engine, so thank you for anyones help or suggestions.

I have heard little about it but is would not be my first choice for supercharging that is for sure. I would do that to a stock one.

Ikc snay on the hp3 vortec. Program has been dropped. All though raylarengines.com has a heads,intake manifold,cam, and rocker arms, for around 6000 grand. they say it will make 550 hp 600ftlbs and idle like stock using pump gas

Just throw a Whipple at it and be done with it. Right now my 8.1 is running TOG headers, flowmaster cat back, modded factory intake, DirectHits ignition, and a Whipple non-intercooled with their electronics putting out 500hp/620trq at the motor...performance wise it is night and day...runs with boxed dmaxes all day long...and no more high rpm pulling the hills when loaded...just adds some boost and she pulls.
