Westers for 91 4.3???

Alright, gettin my little S sries back tonight or Monday for sure finally. Basic mods are going on, in addition to what's been done. Got a K&N drop in and Spin Tech exhuast, going to renew that though w/ a new Carsound cat, possibly a new custom y pipe, possibly a t.b spacer, and if possible, new rockers.

 

These 4.3's seem to have some pretty good potential to them, as long as you open them up and let them breath, they seem to have some very good giddyup in em. So my question, after helping a friend decide on the Westers tune he wants, is it worth it to order one for a 4.3? The engine has all new internals except pistons and rods (have about 45-55k on the pistons, not bad), and I THINK when George did the valve job, he ported the heads w/ the manifold to match up a bit better.

It's salvage title (no frame damage or anything, it's actually in great shape, we think it was stolen). There's no real reason I should do it, since its not worth a lot, but I mean hey, I want some decent mileage and better power to tow the dirtbikes around!!!

 

I think before I order one for the 00, I'll be doing this for my Bday present next month :jester:
