Oh boy... Now I've seen it all. But renting rims for your car??? I guess there is a place in Warren Ohio called Rent N' Roll that actually does this. Here's a link to their wall of fame. It's not that wierd. It seems like their main business is selling wheels, the "Rent-to-own" thing is kinda like layaway. So it's wheel-sales for really poor people.

What I'd like to know is, how do they repo the wheels? (Cause you know there's somebody out there that will miss payments) Do they take the wheels off while the dilinquent is asleep and leave his/her car on cinder-blocks?

I'm waiting for the day that Enterprise, Budget, or Hertz starts putting DUBS on their rentals.

Ahh, a chevy Metro, Rollin' on 20s, I can see it now.

My buddy works with a guy that has rental wheels from them. I didn't believe him until I drove by their shop one day, and sure enough...They have signs out: "Rent wheels, as low as $100 a month!

Of course, those are crappy wheels and tires.

It's like a rental center type place...Really quite the ripoff if you do the math.
