Sierra VHO

Anybody have any info on the Sierra VHO. It seems GM put out a few 1/2 ton, extended cab, 2wd trucks with the 345 hp 6.0 besides the SS. I've heard they also have front torsion bars instead of coils. Both Chevrolet, and GMC had some out. I'd sure like to get one if they're still available. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the same truck that you're describing, but I've heard/read that the VHO is only available in certain states. I remember that Oklahoma and Louisiana were 2 of them; seems like there were maybe 7 or 8 states where the VHO could be found.

Yup. This is an option for Texas, Lousiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma. Avail. in both GMC and Chevrolet.
