they're probably ok, but to be safe I would always stick with Sylvania or PIAA. They make hyperwhites also.

i doubt it.

I had a set of PIAA that had a Kelvin Light freq of 4000 or 4200, i don't remeber exactly.

The glass on the bulb was clear.

I don't think you get the reflective range with coated bulbs.
