Lumbar support

I saw SOMEWHERE that someone had added a knob to their seat to adjust the lumbar support on the driver/passenger seat. Mine does not have it and the way it's set, it sucks.

 

Could someone possibly give me some guidance as to what I need to do to get it adjusted some?

I could be mistaken, but I thought the lumbar was for the bucket seats only, which typically come with the LT. I have not seen such a knob on mine (05 LS), but I must admit I have not looked.

Buy the leather buckets or an aftermarket version. I don't even think the power cloth comes with lumbar.

I've got the knob on my LS with dual power

 

That being a 99 with 6-way power buckets.

I wondered about that, I think the LS was 8 way and the LT 10 way; the side bolsters must be what set the two apart.

On my 2000 LS bench there was a knob lumbar support but on my 03 SLE power buckets there is no lumbar support. GM trying to save money by taking it out

On my 02 with dual power cloth seats I had the lumbar. On my 04 with just the power driver seat I get no lumbar. Got to read the fine print when your buying the truck.

I have the 04 SLE, no knob. Even on my 00 S-10 it had the knob.

 

There's got to be some way to modify this support so that it does not stick out so far.

My 2001 LS with cloth, bench, non-power seats has the lumbar adjustment knob.
