Well after alot of debate I finally decided to remove all the emblems and stickers, I just got it finished a little bit ago. Here it is...

i want to do that to my truck but im worried about leaving behind glue/faded areas behind the emblems. is there a good way to ensure that if i do this, i can actually get a clean look and not look like a goon w/ crap left behind on my pickup?

That looks sharp! I did the same thing, except for the door mouldings and "LT" patch.

I guess there are no guarentees about anything, I was a little concerned about mine being sun faded a bit as it is over two years old and as it turned out there was a little color change, but with a good buff and a wax it is not at all noticable anymore. As far as the glue, work it off with a heat gun and clean it up with a "paint safe" cleaner/glue remover. It takes time..good lick.
