2004 5.3

I have had a 99,02 and now a 2004 5.3. The 2004 for pulling a boat is dead. I have installed k@n and magna flow exhuast with lots more power empty but when pulling load no difference is there anything I can do cost efficient to solve this problem?

The electronic throttle body magnifies the effects of Torque Managment IMO. Like it has been said. Nothing a tune cant take care of!!

i agree with jared there. the pcm can and will close the throttle plate when extreme loads are placed on the engine. thus magnifiing tqm.
